TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USER ENROLLMENT

By registering as a user on Rapid Ride (“Company”, registered in Kenya as “Dhanur Enterprises Limited”), you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:

  1. USER REQUIREMENTS
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Company’s ride-hailing services.
  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date personal information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  1. PLATFORM USAGE
  • You agree to use the Company’s platform solely for the purpose of booking rides.
  • You shall not engage in fraudulent, illegal, or unethical activities while using the platform.
  • The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account in case of misconduct.
  1. FARES AND PAYMENTS
  • The fare for each ride is determined based on distance, time, and demand.
  • You agree to pay the fare as displayed in the app upon ride completion.
  • Payments may be made via cash, mobile money, or other available payment methods.
  • The Company reserves the right to update pricing policies with prior notice.
  1. USER CONDUCT
  • You must treat drivers with respect and comply with all ride-related policies.
  • You shall not engage in harassment, discrimination, or misconduct towards drivers or other users.
  • The Company reserves the right to ban users who violate these terms.
  • You agree to abide by all of the Company’s policies, including their Code of Conduct,  Safety and Security Policy, and their Data Protection Policy.
  1. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
  • Cancellation fees may apply if a ride is canceled after a driver has been assigned.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the Company’s refund policy.
  1. LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
  • The Company provides the platform to connect users and drivers but is not responsible for any actions of the drivers.
  • The Company shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred while using the platform.
  • You agree to indemnify the Company against any claims arising from your use of the service.
  1. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
  • Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation and, if necessary, arbitration under Kenyan law.
  1. GOVERNING LAW
  • These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
  1. ACTIVATION AND DEACTIVATION PROCEDURE
  • Users must complete the required registration process before activation.
  • The Company reserves the right to deactivate any user who fails to comply with policies or engages in misconduct.
  • Re-activation of a deactivated user is subject to the Company’s discretion and compliance with necessary conditions.
  1. COMPLAINT HANDLING
  • The Company has a structured complaint-handling mechanism.
  • Users must cooperate with investigations regarding complaints or policy violations.
  • Complaints may result in warnings, suspensions, or termination based on severity.

When signed in as a USER, one agrees to the Terms and Conditions, including the Code of Conduct Policy, Activation and Deactivation Policy and Procedure, Complaint Handling Procedure, and Safety and Security Policy of the Company.

One also agrees to be bound by the terms of the Data Protection Policy, having read the same, understand my rights as outlined therein, and consent to the processing and sharing of my personal data as outlined therein.
